collection / camping:

Have you ever been camping? I went camping a lot when I was younger. My mom’s friends loved camping so we always took trips together. It was a blast. SO many memories. We caught our own fish and cooked them up, slept under the stars, went inner-tubing. Did I ever tell you when I was in junior high, the youth  group at our church takes the 7th graders on a big backpacking trip. I think we hiked 10-15 miles or something like that with our huge packs carrying all our supplies! I’ll always remember that trip :) Nick has never been camping! I think we’ll need to change that this summer… if we have time. This summer is flying by! Well here’s a collection of images – go on an adventure before summer ends!

collection / peach:

Is anyone else loving peach right now? Peach paired with mint and yellow (of course) is the ultimate for me. Actually, a lady came in the shop wearing all these colors the other day: her pants were mint, her shirt was peach and her sweater was yellow – she was the coolest! Hope you enjoy today’s round up of peach finds!

collection / globes:

If you like antiques and vintage, chances are you have a globe in your home 😉 We have quite a few in our collection. I know globes are way over-done but there’s something that just doesn’t get old about them. It’s nice to look at a globe and remember the world is pretty big, keeps a lot of stuff in perspective! Anyway, here’s a round up of globe-related images .. decor, diy’s, and some fun globe stuff you can buy. We even sell a globe necklace in the shop, it’s one of my favorites :)

Collection / Shop Displays:

Well as you know, we are opening a shop! We have tons of displays but it’s been getting a little overwhelming on how to display everything, so naturally I went looking for some shop-display inspiration! Display is kind of a big deal. I really love it because it’s so fun to display things but it does make a huge impact on your product too. I’ll always remember when I first started selling vinyl decals  at craft shows, no one bought any of them! Then my mom suggested I put a couple on a board or something to demonstrate how they look. and sure enough, they’ve totally sold ever since!
Anyway, who else loves displays? Here’s what I found for this collection of shop set-ups and displays. I don’t know if I’m just drawn to them or if they’re used in a lot of stores but most of these photos seem to have tons of cubby/shelves! It just looks so good! Getting pretty anxious and excited about how our shop will turn out!

Collections / Business Card Round Up #4:

Business cards. What can I say? I’ve done quite a few posts about business cards here on the blog and have probably shared more business diy’s than any other diy 😉 I love them! Is anyone going to Alt this year? I am not going this year. I’ve gone for the past 3 years and I’m a little sad that I can’t make it this year but we have a shop to open! Business cards are still on my mind and I thought I’d do another round-up of cards. Because I don’t think looking at pretty business cards can ever get old! Enjoy today’s collection.

If you’re looking for some printers, I’ve used Moo and Vistaprint in the past. Moo now has LUXE business card printing and it looks super quality! When I need letterpress printing, I use Madeline at Panorama Press, she is awesome! Or take it to the next level with wood printing – my cousin & her husband own a wood engraving shop! I personally am a fan of gold foil printing – Morning print offers all kinds of paper types and printing, haven’t used them but their prices seem really reasonable!

For anyone attending Alt, be sure to check out some alt business card round up posts for loads of inspiration! Dandee, Creature Comforts, and Camille Styles… oh, and I did a roundup of alt cards here too 😉
